If a cultural experience is requested in conjunction with your safari tour in the North Natal Game Reserves, like Umfolozi/Hluhluwe, Mkuzi, St.Lucia etc, a visit to the Zulu village "Duma Zulu" which means "Thundering Zulu", is recommended, as it is
in close vicinity of those parks, and not much travelling time is needed from those reserves to reach the village.

There are fabulous private Game and Safari parks to your disposal, and it is our aim, to visit those Reserves that has the "Big Five".

Should this not be a priority for you, please let us know, as there are reserves that do not have Lions, Elephant or both. This will give us a greater opportunity to select different places to choose from.

Located at the believed birth and burial place of the mighty Zulu king, King Shaka, this tour will provide you with an unequalled insight into the ancient traditions and customs of this proud nation.

This approximately 3 hour tour takes you from Durban to the mass of rolling hills that characterise the Natal midlands. This tour gives an introductory insight into the lifestyle of the Zulu nation and includes some traditional dancing and culminates in a visit to the crocodile farm and tea at the Rob Roy Hotel.

Departing from your accommodation at 08h30, this Day Tour takes you past some of the most scenic hilly landscapes en-route to the film set for the making of the internationally famed movie 'Shaka Zulu'.

SWAZILAND

Visit this Swazi-kingdom that joins Mozambique on the east side and spend a few days in the Game Parks. Enjoy typical Swazi-style cooking on open fire's, travel by open Land Rover and/or walks through the bush looking for wildlife, with experienced Swazi-trackers, various types of accommodation available incl. luxurious en-suite Safari tents.
